What to Expect After Completing the Virtual OSCE
Candidates who successfully complete the Virtual OSCE will receive their certificate once the NDEB has received proof of graduation directly from their school.
Submitting Proof of Graduation
- Graduates of Canadian dental programs generally have their confirmation of graduation sent directly to the NDEB by their school. They do not need to send anything to the NDEB unless specifically requested.
- For those graduating from accredited programs outside of Canada, the NDEB accepts electronic transcripts through official partner platforms, including MyCreds, Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, and My eQuals.
- Graduates of non-accredited programs do not need to resubmit proof of graduation at this stage, as it was already provided during the Equivalency process application.
Keep Your Profile Information Up to Date
The certificate will be mailed to the address listed in your NDEBConnect account, with delivery times varying based on your location. To avoid delays in receiving your certificate, the mailing address listed in your NDEBConnect profile must be current and accurate. We recommend reviewing and updating your profile as soon as possible if any changes are needed.
After You Get Certified
Once your certificate has been issued, contact the Dental Regulatory Authority (DRA) in the province where you intend to apply for licensure.
We encourage you to watch the How and When Do I Get My Certificate video, available in our Video Library for more information about certificate delivery.
