Dates and Locations


The Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge (AFK) is offered twice a year in February and August.

The Assessment of Clinical Judgement (ACJ) is offered twice a year in May and November.

The NDECC is offered throughout the year.

The AFK will be administered in paper format at locations in Canada and electronically at Prometric testing centres in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

When registering for an AFK, you will select your delivery method based on availability. The electronic version will include “Prometric” in the exam title (ex: Toronto, ON – Prometric).


The ACJ is administered at Prometric Test centres across Canada and in Australia and New Zealand. Candidates will select their location when they schedule with Prometric. An additional examination site will also be established in Ottawa. Candidates schedule for ACJ-Ottawa will not be required to schedule an exam time with Prometric.


The NDECC will be administered at the NDECC Test Centre in Ottawa, ON.
