Registration for the March 16, 2025, Virtual OSCE will now close on January 26, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET. To register, log in to your NDEBConnect account.

When you log in to register for the March 2025 Virtual OSCE, you can select your exam location. Only locations with space will appear.

Registration transfers

We’ve introduced a new feature in the registration process that allows candidates to explore alternative exam locations and transfer their registration to a preferred location if space is available. Candidates wishing to transfer their Virtual OSCE registration to a new location must do so before the registration deadline.

Preparing for the exam

• The Virtual OSCE Frameworks offer an illustration of the case-based question formats generally used in the Virtual OSCE.
• The Virtual OSCE Orientation video offers an overview of the features and functionalities of the examination platform. It is recommended that candidates watch this video a few days prior to the exam so they can familiarize themselves with how to use the platform and minimize the amount of time spent figuring out how the platform works on exam day. There is an opportunity to test out the exam software at the end of the video.
• The Virtual OSCE Protocol contains all the information you need to know about the examination including what you can and cannot bring to the exam, the exam blueprint, and examples of how questions are scored.
• The Virtual OSCE Information Session video serves as an informative resource for those seeking to understand the exam format and grading criteria, learn about important deadlines, and get practical advice for exam day.
