Registration for the November 2023 ACJ closes tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST. In November 2023, the ACJ will be administered electronically at Prometric test centres across Canada as well as in Australia and New Zealand. As part of the NDEB’s ongoing efforts to increase test capacity, an examination centre in Ottawa was also opened for this administration. Using the delivery model that was introduced for the Virtual OSCE earlier this year, the Ottawa site will host the exam for 150 candidates. This is a significant increase in test capacity for the ACJ which was averaging 350 candidates per session over the past two years. Preparing for the ACJ If you are taking the November 2023 ACJ there are resources available on the NDEB website to help you prepare. The ACJ question and answer frameworks provide an example of the formats commonly used in the ACJ. There is also and electronic examination orientation that will help familiarize candidates with the electronic platform and gives candidates an opportunity to experience the platform through a short practice test. About the ACJ The ACJ is the second examination in the Equivalency Process for graduates of non-accredited dental programs. The exam assesses the candidate’s ability to formulate a diagnosis and make clinical decisions.
