Registration for the NDECC session running from January 5 until March 12, 2026 is opening on September 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET. To register, log in to your NDEBConnect account.
The NDECC is designed to assess the clinical competence of dentists trained in non-accredited programs and consists of two components: the Clinical Skills component, which evaluates techniques relevant to current Canadian standards, and the situational judgement component, which measures decision-making in work-related situations.
If this is your first time registering for the NDECC, we recommend watching the “Being Registration Ready“ video in our Video Library. This start-to-finish guide will walk you through the entire registration process and help you prepare for registration day.
We also recommend reviewing the NDECC Protocol and the NDECC Practical Guide, which work together to explain what to expect, where to go, and how to be ready when you arrive at the test centre.
