Leadership Team Recognized for Their Contributions to Dentistry
Each year, the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) recognizes individuals who have made a profound impact on the profession, celebrating leadership, innovation, and service. This year, two individuals from our leadership team and one board member have been recognized by the CDA for their exceptional dedication and impact on the dental profession.
Dr. Dagenais, Executive Director and Registrar of the NDEB, received the CDA Distinguished Service Award for her exceptional work in advancing dentistry, dental education, and the oral health of Canadians.
Dr. Nguyen, Director of Examinations, was honored with the CDA Award of Merit in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the dental profession, the broader dental community, and the oral health of Canadians, as well as her exemplary service in organized dentistry, professional societies, regulatory affairs, and academic levels.
Past President Dr. Amarjit Singh Rihal was awarded the CDA Honoured Member Award for his outstanding contribution to the dental profession, the dental community and the oral health of Canadians.
These prestigious awards highlight their dedication to the integrity and advancement of the profession.
