NDEB in charge of Verifying Credential Authenticity

Our Credential Verification department often receives inquiries regarding the acceptance of third-party evaluations for credential validation and authentication. While independent third-party organizations do work with educational institutions to perform credential verifications, it’s important to note that the NDEB does not accept third-party credential evaluations as substitutes for any of the required documents.

The NDEB source verification is a crucial step in the credential verification process and is designed to meet the specific needs of the NDEB in verifying eligibility to participate in NDEB processes.

As dentistry is a regulated healthcare field in Canada, the NDEB’s role is to confirm that all individuals approved to take tests have obtained a general dentistry degree from an institution recognized by the country in which they are located to award these degrees and verify that the applicants have not been found to have violated the codes of ethics and practice of the profession.
