Examinees who have previously failed the Assessment of Clinical Skills (ACS) three times are eligible to re-apply to the Equivalency Process. To re-apply, complete the re-application form and submit the following required document that meet the requirements outlined in the Application Guide:
- Equivalency Process Required Documents Form, signed and dated.
- Notarized photocopy of one of the listed government issued photo identifications.
- A letter or certificate issued by all licensing bodies in which you were licensed, confirming that you are or were entitled to practice in the jurisdiction and that you were not disqualified, suspended, or prohibited from practicing, and the regulatory authority is not aware of any matters that call into question your good standing, fitness to practice or ‘good character’ as a healthcare professional.
Optional document:
- If you are a Canadian resident and would like to provide proof of residency, you can submit a notarized photocopy of one of the documents listed in the Application Guide. This is not required to take an NDEB examination.
Once your application has been received, you will be required to pay the non-refundable re-application fee of $400.00 through your NDEBConnect account. Additional documentation may be requested for the purpose of verifying eligibility to participate in the NDEB Equivalency Process.
