Effective August 1, 2019, a fully operational predoctoral dental education program based outside the US has been granted accreditation status by the Commission on Dental Accreditation(CODA).

The dental education program, sponsored by King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received the status of Approval Without Reporting Requirements, the first time an international predoctoral dental program based outside the US has received such a status from the Commission.
