Application to the NDEB Equivalency Process requires a detailed credential verification. With over 1300 new applicants since January 1, 2019 and credentials for new and existing applicants arriving daily the NDEB is no longer able to meet the previously anticipated processing times while maintaining its established standards for credential verification.
The NDEB is working towards decreasing its wait times for credential verification and understands that increased processing times may impact an applicant’s plans to register for a specific assessment.
Applications to the Equivalency Process have, and will continue to be processed, on a first come first served basis once all the required documentation is provided. Applicants can assist in expediting their approval process by following the required documents exactly as listed by the NDEB. Documents that are not submitted according to these requirements will not be accepted.
A video on how to apply and avoid common document submission errors has been created to assist applicants in submitting the correct documentation.
