Accommodations for individuals impacted by the US Travel Ban

If you are registered for the February 4, 2017 Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge and have been impacted by the new US executive order, you may request to be withdrawn from the Assessment.  

As per NDEB policy, a withdrawal fee of 25% per assessment will be charged for withdrawal after the registration deadline date but prior to the assessment date.  Documentation of circumstances beyond a participant’s control at the time of withdrawal must be supplied with the withdrawal request.

Your withdrawal request and evidence, such as a scanned copy of your passport or other government-issued documentation used for travel purposes, must be submitted by email to info@ndeb-bned.ca prior to the Assessment.  

If you are a candidate registered for the March 2017 Written Examination and OSCE and have been impacted by the new US executive order you can request a transfer to an examination centre within the United States.

You must submit a request and evidence, such as a photocopy of your passport or other government-issued documentation used for travel purposes, by email to info@ndeb-bned.ca prior to February 6, 2017. The NDEB will make every effort to accommodate requests for transfers. If accommodations cannot be made, you can be withdrawn from the examinations.  A withdrawal fee of $250.00 per examination will be charged for withdrawal from an examination after the registration deadline date but prior to the examination date provided documentation of circumstances beyond a candidate’s control at the time of withdrawal is supplied with the withdrawal request.
