The NDEB By-laws govern the operations of the organization, including the duties and responsibilities of the Board, committees, examinations, assessments, and appeal procedures. The By-laws are reviewed and revised regularly by the By-laws Committee and approved by the Board.
Please be advised that in recognition of the Covid-19 Pandemic (Coronavirus), the Executive Committee of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) has taken steps to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in the NDEB processes including the public, applicants, candidates and NDEB staff. These steps are being taken to respect the emergency measures announced by Federal and Provincial public health officials to help reduce the transmission of the Coronavirus. Respecting these emergency measures makes it impossible for the NDEB to fulfil its responsibilities in accordance with the various time limits set out in the NDEB By-laws. Accordingly, time limits in the NDEB By-laws are suspended effective immediately and are being extended until further notice. The various proceedings conducted and administered by the NDEB will be resumed, rescheduled and conducted in a manner that will ensure no person will be prejudiced by the suspension of time limits. All other elements of eligibility will continue to be applicable.
