The Faculty of Dentistry\u2019s Alumni of Influence Award recognizes diverse alumni and the exceptional ways in which they serve patients, the school and the community. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">After receiving her diploma in oral radiology from the University of Toronto, Dr. Dagenais pursued a career as an educator<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"none\">at<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> McGill University where she taught for 27 years. Before joining the NDEB\u00ae in 2015, Dr. Dagenais served as the President of the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Chair of the Documentation Committee of the Commission on Dental Accreditation<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, as well as <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">President <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">of the Canadian Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. In 2019, Dr. Dagenais <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">and colleagues <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">were recognized for <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">their <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">contributions to the development of the ACFD educational framework, a conceptual tool to help development of competency within the Canadian undergraduate curricula. The ACFD educational framework received the William J.
