{"id":2205,"date":"2020-09-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-06-24T17:55:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prelive.ndeb-bned.ca\/2021\/06\/24\/the-revised-2020-acs-protocol-is-now-available\/"},"modified":"2023-12-05T17:44:05","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T22:44:05","slug":"the-revised-2020-acs-protocol-is-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndeb-bned.ca\/activity-log-backup\/2020\/09\/02\/the-revised-2020-acs-protocol-is-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"The revised 2020 ACS Protocol is now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There have been significant changes to the <a href=\"\/en\/non-accredited\/clinical-skills\">2020 ACS Protocol<\/a> and participants should review the revised Protocol carefully.<\/p>\n<p>Changes to the Protocol include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>replacing the lunch break with a 30-minute break.<\/li>\n<li>examinees will no longer be able to share dental instruments or unused dental materials.<\/li>\n<li>updates to the entire section on infection control and safety requirement.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>examinees are strongly encouraged to provide their own amalgamator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Considering COVID-19, clinical attire is now a requirement for the examination. The NDEB is monitoring developments regarding COVID-19 closely and will be implementing additional health and safety for the ACS that are in-line with federal and provincial public health guidelines. These will be available to participants closer to the examination date.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"\/en\/non-accredited\/clinical-skills\">ACS 2020 Protocol<\/a> is also available for download from your online profile.
