Accessibility \u2013 Statement of Commitment<\/h3>\n

The NDEB is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration, inclusion, and equal opportunity, and are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner.<\/p>\n

We will work to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility and will strive to ensure that our services, communications, and facilities are accessible to all.<\/p>\n

The NDEB is committed to complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its associated standards, including the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). We will continue to develop, implement, and maintain policies and practices that support accessibility and inclusion.<\/p>\n

Accessible Formats and Communication Supports<\/h3>\n

The NDEB will provide accessible formats, and communication supports on request and in a timely manner. We will consult with the person making the request to determine suitability of the format or communication support. (e.g. HTML and Microsoft Word, large print, text transcripts of visual and audio information).
